I’m no stranger to SXSW. Anyone who knows me also knows that I am a former Austinite and love to attend SXSW every year in Austin. In fact, you could kinda say I’m known for it? I don’t know about that. I only know that this year was a weird one. From fake protests to Miley Cyrus appearance teasing, this year was a weird transition. From Chevy to Russell Brand, there was a definite ‘let’s pull out’ vibe in the press this year. Still, other brands and celebs emerged without any hesitation whatsoever. We can definitely depend on the draw of Austin’s cool and fun vibe to draw some good people in.

If I had to pick a world to characterize this year’s SXSW it would be ‘overstimulated.’ This year was one of the first where there were just so many things going on it was hard to keep track of anything or anyone. The last part is nothing new, SXSW has been a mad house for quite some time. Here are a few of my favorite shots from this year’s conference!
