10 Women We Admire
At CircleClick, we love being on the ground floor. We find joy in helping our clients build, create and bring dynamic projects into the world that are unlike anything else. In short, we love a success story.
And we know we’re not the only ones, which is why we chose to highlight 10 women we have watched grind and succeed that we so very admire. So without further ado, let’s meet some incredible ladies who are doing amazing things!
Laura Mignott
Laura Mignott is an award-winning storyteller, Global Chief Experiential Officer at VMLY&R Commerce, former CEO of DFlash, creator/host of the Reset Podcast, and a guest lecturer at various universities including NYU & Baruch. She’s also the creator of the online course, One Degree of Connection, which teaches people how to network and figure out their passions and their X-factor, which is especially helpful during the pandemic crisis.
At DFlash, Laura designed global experiences that make people feel welcome, from pop-ups to private dinners, to multi-city tours for brands like Netflix, Amazon, Samsung, Bose & many more.
Laura is a creative storyteller, with a strategic mindset and relentless hustle. She’s affectionately known as the #Bosslady with a warm smile. She believes in hard work and good karma. Her work has been featured in AdWeek, AdAge, Essence, Forbes, Huff Post, Thrive Global, USA Today, Black Enterprise as well as several TV appearances as a marketing/branding expert. Laura is the 2021 Award Winner for the Advertising Club NY: Rockstar & the WiM winner of Storyteller of the Year. She holds a BA from NYU and MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. She lives in NYC and is always on the hunt for the next great cocktail bar or Netflix show to binge.
Emily Olman
Hopscotch Interactive, LLC Founder Emily Olman launched the company in 2015 to accelerate the adoption of new media and technology for property marketing. With a background in media sales, business and property marketing, she believes that the latest developments in 3D Photography, Virtual Reality (VR), 360° photography, and Augmented Reality (AR) are unlocking property’s full potential, and demand for these services will continue to grow rapidly as we move towards a new era of the visual web.
Emily is a real estate photographer, 3D/VR photographer, and VR/AR evangelist. She has spoken on VR for Real Estate both in the U.S. and abroad, and in her role as the VR/AR Association SF Chapter Co-President, she advocates and evangelizes for VR/AR acceleration in the market. She also participates in the VR/AR Association’s Real Estate Committee, setting standards and best practices worldwide. As a consultant, she educates her clients on the current state of technology and its current business applications from traditional property marketing to mixed-reality services.
Cathy Hackl
Cathy Hackl is a globally recognized metaverse expert, tech futurist, and top business executive with deep experience working in metaverse-related fields with companies like HTC VIVE, Magic Leap, and Amazon Web Services.
She’s the CEO and Chief Metaverse Officer of the Futures Intelligence Group, a leading metaverse consultancy working with the world’s top brands on metaverse growth strategies, NFTs, gaming, virtual fashion, and how to extend their brands into virtual worlds.
Cathy is a sought-after consultant, speaker, and media personality. Hackl was recently featured in 60 Minutes+, WSJ, and WIRED’s coverage of the metaverse and is a contributor to Forbes. She has written two books and is writing an anticipated book on the business opportunities of the metaverse titled The Metaverse Economy.
Hackl has been dubbed the Godmother of the Metaverse and is one of the top tech voices on LinkedIn. She’s also the host of Adweek’s Metaverse Marketing podcast and the dean of the Republic Realm Academy.
BigThink named Hackl one of the top 10 most influential women in tech in 2020 and in 2021 she was included in the prestigious Thinkers50 Radar list of the 30 management thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led.
Dr. Melissa Barker
Melissa Barker is the founder and CEO of The Phoenix Project, a social impact startup in the Bay Area. Phoenix is a caring digital community that supports mental health and wellness—anywhere, anytime. They are currently building audio first healing experiences for trauma survivors.
Melissa is a trauma survivor herself and is building Phoenix to make trauma-informed healing and mental health care more accessible than ever. She knows firsthand how hard healing can feel at times, but she also knows sometimes the only way out is through and she wants to create a space where all survivors can have access to high-quality healing and care so that they may (re)find their joy.
Melissa believes in giving back to her community; she has served on the Board of Directors for STAND!, a nonprofit that supports survivors of violence in the Bay Area.
Melissa holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies, an M.A. from Saint Mary’s College in Leadership Studies for Social Justice, and her Doctorate is in Educational Leadership. Her Doctoral research focuses on how survivors are finding sustainable healing.
Amy LaMeyer
Named one of the Top 30 People to Watch in Augmented Reality by Next Reality, Amy LaMeyer is an avid supporter of Augmented Reality companies and a firm believer that AR is the next major technology platform that will impact all industries. She is an investor and advisor to start-ups in AR, VR, AI, cybersecurity, and music tech with strategy and product development, marketing, fundraising and network connections. She created EnteringVR.net to assist others to learn about the potential of AR and VR. She is a mentor for XR accelerator programs including Boost VC and Women in XR Venture Fund and has written for Virtual Reality Pop.
Amy is Managing Partner of the WXR Fund, a venture fund backing early stage, gender diverse start-ups using spatial computing (AR/VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform business and human connection. Fund portfolio includes Embodied Labs, absurd:joy, Obsess, All3D.ai, Wavely, Prisms of Reality, Scatter, BODS, Mpathic, Tvori, InCitu.
Samantha G. Wolfe
Samantha G. Wolfe is the Founder of PitchFWD, a strategic consultancy focused on the acceleration of consumer and enterprise adoption of emerging technologies through brand and marketing strategy as well as product and developer marketing. PitchFWD works to increase awareness, understanding of, and traction for the most innovative and cutting-edge products and services.
Sam is an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Steinhardt School teaching ‘The Business of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality’ and ‘The Marketing of Innovation’, both courses she created and developed. Sam also has co-authored the book, “Marketing New Realities: An Introduction to Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality Marketing, Branding, & Communications” and is a contributing author to Charlie Fink’s book “Convergence: How The World Will Be Painted With Data” with a chapter focused on “Augmented Reality & Brands.”
She has presented across the country about emerging technology marketing and brand strategy, including appearances at SXSW, the VRARA, CES, and the Augmented World Expo, where she hosted and co-curated AWE’s inaugural Marketing & Sales Track.
Sam is a Board Member of SXSW Pitch and XR Ignite, and she has been on the judging panel for the Games for Change Festival, AWE Auggie Awards, MIT Reality Hack, and CES Innovation Awards.
Naomi Assaraf
Naomi Assaraf has been a leader in business for more than two decades. At 17, she started her first business, making a lasting impression on Montreal’s community of cosmopolitan stakeholders and entrepreneurs. She made unmistakable strides with her obsession with the customer experience, but ultimately, she thrived by becoming a tireless, legendary networker who made sure that giving back was integral to her operation.
Moving to Silicon Valley in 2012 afforded Naomi an opportunity to be a consultant in the biggest, most famous technology center in the world. Her expertise in multiple areas of digital marketing would eventually catch the eye of educators, politicians, startups and venture capitalists. A year later — with a diverse clientele and industry buzz around her projects — she would become a founder and CMO of cloudHQ, a successful email management company that makes Gmail productivity tools for clients like Uber, Netflix, and AirBnB.
Naomi has keynoted conferences around the world about the impact of virtual reality and artificial intelligence, and about the need for more diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. The Huffington Post called her a big thinker and a great storyteller, and noted that “with a background in both sociology and marketing, it is easy to see why she is endlessly curious about the evolution of communication in the Information Age.”
Always a believer that helping people must be a part of success, she mentors up-and-coming entrepreneurs about their corporate social responsibility initiatives and encourages young people worldwide to strongly consider STEM careers. In fact, she is a digital volunteer and co-chairperson for the popular Facebook group “ARVR Women and Allies”, which shares valuable info about, and opportunities in, the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality industries.
Courtney Smith Kramer
Courtney Smith Kramer is an outsourced Marketing and Creative Director and author and has been named a Top 200 Global Marketing Influencer and Top 20 “Agency Strategy” Global Influencer by Onalytica. In her career, she has built award-winning branding, marketing, social media, and influencer programs, demand gen, and creative strategy for brands like Netflix DVD, IBM, International Culinary Center, Cisco, Plantronics, Autodesk, Pitney Bowes and more. She has also helped a lot of SMBs whose names you wouldn’t recognize, but are full of heart, vision and doing great work in the world.
She one of the only 3% of women Creative Directors in the US and has knack for making the complex simple. Courtney believes in the intense power of creativity and laughter to change the world, and has a wicked sense of humor. A specialist in building strategic Marketing programs and teams from the ground up, her superpower is helping people and programs get clear and create beauty and order out of chaos.

Jessica Naziri
Championing a more personable approach to technology, Jessica is an in-demand tech expert, content reviewer, and one of the leading women in the field of technology. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Search Engine Journal and a contributor to prominent search and social blogs, including Small Biz Trends and Mashable.
